Complimentary Greens Fees in Puerto Vallarta

Guests staying at Now Amber Puerto Vallarta through June 30, 2017 can enjoy one round of complimentary greens fes at the two 18-hole championship golf courses at Vista Vallarta Club de Golf and also at the 18-hole championship course at Marina Vallarta Golf Club!

Vista Vallarta Club de Golf is composed of two 18-hole championship courses. One designed by one of the world's greatest players, Jack Nicklaus, and the other designed by Tom Weiskopf. Both courses offer the perfect setting for pro and amateur golfers alike.

Marina Vallarta Golf Club is a magnificient 18-hole championship course. Joe Finger has done a masterful job of blendng the elevations and natural features into an incredible playing experience.




Terms & Conditions


Guests at Now Amber Puerto Vallarta enjoy complimentary green fees at Marina Vallarta Golf Club and Vista Vallarta Club de Golf.

From December 23, 2016 through April 30, 2017:

  • Premium tee time charge: $35 USD
  • Cart Rental: $45/person in a shared cart

From May 1, 2017 to June 30, 2017:

  • Premium Tee Time Surcharge: None for guests playing before 12 p.m.
  • Cart Rental: $45/person in a shared cart

Premium tee times are before 12:00 p.m. Guests who play after 12:00 p.m. will only incur the cost of the cart rental. The use of a cart is mandatory and there will be an additional charge per person in a shared cart.

Guests must arrange their tee times 45 days to 12 hours in advance with the resort concierge and provide a credit card when doing so. If guests wish to cancel or reschedule their tee time, they must do so at least 12 hours in advance to avoid a $20 USD no-show penalty per person which will be charged by the hotel to the credit card they have provided. The concierge will then issue guests a coupon, which will grant them access to the golf course. Tee times will be subject to availability. Transportation to and from golf course not included.

Re-rounds to be confirmed at the golf course upon availability at the end of each of the scheduled rounds with applicable charges at available tee time. Additional charges and fees apply and are to be paid by the guest directly to the Golf Course.

Restrictions apply and the offer is subject to change at any time. Tournaments for groups will be quoted separately from this offer through the Groups Department. Blackout dates, maintenance closings and restrictions apply. This offer is subject to availability and may be restricted to certain promotions and room categories as specified in the promotion inclusions and restrictions.

Documentation Required By The Dominican Law In Order To Be Legally Married In The Dominican Republic

  • Birth Certificate of Bride and Groom or certified copy of Birth certificate. If parents’ names are not shown on the certificates, please indicate them separately.
  • Notarized Declaration of Single status for the Bride and Groom. If previously married, submit two copies of the Divorce Decree or Death Certificate. There is a mandatory waiting period for women, 10 months before they are legally allowed to remarry.
  • A photocopy of Bride and Groom’s Passport (or documents used to enter the DR).
  • Photocopies of all Witnesses Passports. Cannot be family members. If necessary, resort will provide witnesses.
  • Bride & Groom must be in the country 3 business days prior to the wedding. Symbolic and non-legal ceremonies allow flexibility for arrival date. Please speak with the wedding coordinator to discuss requirements.

Please note: The Dominican Republic is now a member of the La Hague Convention, please have your official documents apostilled by your Secretary of State Office.

All documents must be translated and legalized by the Dominican Consulate prior to arriving in the Dominican Republic, except for the Passports. The documents should be legalized by the Dominican Consulate no more than 3 months prior to the wedding date. It is the couple’s responsibility to have all the documentation ready prior to the wedding. The Judge is an outside service provided by the Dominican Government. We cannot be held responsible for any delay or alteration. The Judge will duly register your Wedding Certificate at the Central Civil Board and legalize it with the Foreign Affairs Department of the Dominican Republic. We will then send the Wedding Certificate to the couple via mail which may take up to 10-12 weeks.

The Civil Wedding is celebrated in Spanish. If necessary, the resort will provide English, French or German translators.
